Lagos appoints Ogunseinde as gymnastics board boss

Founder of Upbeat Recreational Centre, MoyoOgunseinde, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Lagos State Gymnastics Board.
The inauguration, which recently took place at the MoladeOkoya-Thomas Indoor Sports Hall, TeslimBalogun Stadium, Lagos, was conducted by the Chairman, Lagos State Sports Commission, Dr KwekuTandoh.
The honour comes shortly after Ogunseinde established West Africa’s first trampoline park, revolutionising the recreation space in Nigeria and impacting lives through fun and fitness in the process.
While explaining their choice of Ogunseinde, Head, Public Relations, LSSC, TitiOshodi, said, “The appointment of the chairman and other members of the board was based on their passion and interest in sports development in Lagos State.”
Ogunseinde said her new role would allow her contribute even more towards the growth of the sport in Lagos.
She said, “It’s an honour to be able to serve my state through a field which I am most passionate about.
“My dream is to create a gymnastics team in Lagos that will compete with other gymnasts at the Olympic Games.
“We have a good future ahead of us and with the successes the association has had in the past, we will bring our experience in the private sector to add lasting values to gymnastics in Lagos State.”
