The Experience 2018 (13th edition) is today, 7th December, 2018. And we have put together the essential things you will need need for the event.
Note that the musical concert which debuted 13 years ago is the most attended gospel concert in the world . According to the convener, The Senior Pastor of House on the Rock, Paul Adefarasin, this year's theme is “Jesus, Our Peace” and will have 500,000 in attendance and millions watching online.
2018 edition of the Experience will take place at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, Nigeria from 7.pm. It will also play host to an array of gospel ministers such Don Moen, Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Timi Dakolo, Travis Greene, Nathaniel Bassey, Vicki Yohe, Chioma Jesus, Tope Alabi, Eben, Tim Godfrey, Mike Aremu, Glowreeyah, Onos, Eno Michael, Chee, JJ Hairston, Planetshakers, ADA
If you have plans to attend, here is a list of all you need to know
Go Early
Don't bother to get home from work before going to the event. Traffic will rush you, you will be exhausted for the event and you won't get good seat.
Go with a Friend
Experience is not your regular gospel event. You need a lil company to enjoy it and chat with. Heads up! Make sure you and your companion are together before the event. If you think both of you will locate each other there, you are setting yourself up.
Take your Snacks
The snacks and drinks are very expensive. It is always safe to load up your own stuff before you get there. Midnight grub, water, drinks, etc.
Avoid Pepper
Avoid foods that can upset your stomach or body system. While Experience has a toilet, it is public and you know what that can mean.
Phone with Torchlight
There is always that moment when most lights go off and everyone put on their torchlight. it is always beautiful. It will also help you to navigate.
Make Sure Your Phone is Charge.
There is usually bad network but trust me, your phone better be charged to the brim. Pictures, videos, all the many things you would like to do with your phone.
Take Money
There are very few ways you can emphasise this. The event is free. There is no offering. But take your money. You will need it.
Use Public Vehicles
While Experience offer a lot of security, in my opinion, public buses is easier - parking, etc.
Again, TAKE MORE MONEY!
