Arsenal Provide Hector Bellerin Injury Update After Defender Is Carried Off In Chelsea Win
Arsenal will assess Hector Bellerin on Sunday after the defender suffered a knee injury in the win over Chelsea .
The right-back left the field on a stretcher after picking up the problem in the 72nd minute of the 2-0 victory over the Blues at the Emirates.
Boss Unai Emery is keeping his fingers crossed that the injury to the Spaniard is not serious.
He said after the game: "We have to wait until tomorrow, it’s his knee. The first prediction is it can be an important injury.
"I hope not, but first impressions are not positive."
He added: "We have Ainsley, playing with good 'pieces'. He played well today and can help us playing at right-back or right winger.
"Also Lichsteiner is another player who can play there. We have the players. I don't forget Jenkinson who has played some matches and can be used if we need him."
