BREAKING: Many Declared Missing, Several Injured As Herdsmen Strike In Benue
Many persons have been declared missing and several persons injured on Friday after suspected herdsmen blocked the ever-busy Daudu-Gbajimba road, along the Makurdi-Lafia road.
The incident happened between Tokpande and Umenger village. It was gathered that the heavily armed herdsmen macheted over 10 persons.
At the time of filing this report, we could not ascertain if the exact number of casualties but several persons have been declared missing, including on Mr. Peter Achiaga.
Confirming the incident, the Special Assistant to Governor Samuel Ortom on Media and ICT, James Gbudu said the whereabouts of Mr. Achiaga and others still remain unknown.
