Following rumors of a failing marriage with partner Sonia LaReina, Nollywood actor, Ik Ogbonna has come out to speak on the divorce rumours surrounding their marriage. This is the first time the actor is speaking openly about his marriage since the rumours began.
In an interview with HipTV, the actor said "you are not divorced until you are divorced" giving us the notion that though the couple is separated their divorce isn’t finalised. He says "...so I’m not divorced, my wife and I, we are cool... She's back in Europe with my son and he is schooling in Europe now. My wife is...she’s got her business going on and school at the same time"
He admits that things aren’t the way they used to be between them. “...the fact that we are not probably the way we used to be doesn’t mean that we are divorced, probably just taking things one step at a time, taking it easy and hopefully everything works out good at the end"
