Former President Goodluck Jonathan is facing staunch criticism for sharing a post on why President Muhammadu Buhari will not succeed as Nigeria’s President.
Jonathan on Monday shared a post by his former media aide, Reno Omokri, which described some of Buhari’s aides such as his Spokesmen, Garba Shehu and Femi Adesina, as liars.
Reno Omokri was reacting to Adesina’s interview on Channels Television on Sunday.
Adesina had during the said interview, upbraided Nigerians for complaining about the spate of insecurity in Nigeria.
Buhari’s aide had added that ‘Nigerians should be thankful that bombing has reduced.’
Reacting to Adesina’s interview, Omokri said he feels sorry for Buhari and wondered how the President will succeed when he is surrounded by liars
“I watched Femi Adesina’s interview on Channels Television on Sunday January 26, 2020, and I felt sorry, very sorry for General Muhammadu Buhari.
Omokri also stated that the Jonathan administration stands shoulder above that of General Buhari.
Few minutes after Omokri posted his reaction on his Facebook page, Jonathan shared it on his own page.
In response to Jonathan sharing the post on his Facebook page, some of his supporters and those of President Buhari condemned him .
They wondered why the former President, who worked for the victory of the All Progressives Congress in the recently concluded Bayelsa State governorship election is now against Buhari.
