Heavy gunshots rang out in Ojota this morning as Security operatives battle to disperse June 12 protesters.
The protesters are currently demanding better governance and protesting against the Muhammadu Buhari administration. POLITICS NIGERIA learned that heavily armed security agents have barricaded the Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota, the venue of the protest in Lagos state.
Policemen fired several shots into the air in a bid to stop protesters who gathered at the venue on Saturday.
About three hilux vehicles and two armoured tanks were also seen at the venue.
