Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has warned the former Governor of Sokoto State, Aliyu Wamakko over his recent comments. According to the South-Eastern group, his statement is capable of inciting ethnic crisis and turmoil in the country.
Ohanaeze group said it is laughable that Wamakko could not find solutions to the terror, insecurity challenges in the North for the last 7 years. It was the same security challenges his likes and others in APC used against Goodluck Jonathan's presidency in 2015, yet they are still trying to defeat the insurgency.
The Apex Igbo group in a statement signed by Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, Secretary-General of the group, accused the Northern region of being responsible for all the problems the South-East is experiencing.
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association denied the involvement of Fulani Herdsmen in the recent attack that took place in Igangan, the attack led to the destruction of properties and the loss of lives.
The President of the group, Alhaji Bodejo while reacting to the rumor circulating that members of Fulani settlers in Oyo state are responsible for the attack, describe it as false, said his people are peaceful and loving, they won't engage in such criminal act.
Alhaji Bodejo also urged Fulani settlers in the southern part of the country to remain calm, peaceful, obedient to the rule of law.

The property of the Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Imo State, Mr. Declan Emelumba, was destroyed on Sunday by an unknown Gunmen.
The commissioner confirmed the News of the incident to newsmen, he said the attackers upon arrival, shot sporadically into the air to cause panic before setting his two buildings in his family compound ablaze.
