Tottenham Hotspur's players resumed training sessions after the centre was closed for almost a week because of the increase of cases in Covid-19 among the players and staff of the club.

The club's manager, Antonio Conte, had announced on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021 that the squad was not in its full strength after eight of the players and five members of the staff tested positive for the virus. Sky Sports confirmed the news of the training session on its official website.
The London club had their Europa Conference League game against Rennes cancelled and its Premier League game against Brighton postponed because of lack of players that will be needed to execute the games. This latest update means that game against Leicester City will go on as scheduled.
