New York radio station Hot 97 announced Burna Boy as one of the main performers for the Hot 97 Summer Festival 2022.
On Friday, April 29, 2022, radio station Hot 97 announced the full lineup of artists which includes the African giant Burna Boy, for the Hot 97 Sumer Festival 2022 set to take place on June 12, 2022, at the MET Life Stadium.
The festival would be headlined by Brooklyn rapper Fivio Foreign with Burna Boy, DreamDoll, Shenseea, Benny The Butcher, Roddy Rich, Pusha T, City Girls, Young Thug, Gunna, Lil Baby, and Lil Durk also performing on the main stage.
