Nigerian Police Force, EFCC, Are Buhari's Personal 'Attack Dogs' – Fayose Explodes

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, on Wednesday took a swipe at President Muhammadu Buhari, claiming he has turned the Nigeria Police Force and the Economic and Financial Crimes, EFCC, into his personal “attack dogs.”

The PDP chieftain made the claim in a series of tweets.

He alleged that President Buhari's signing of a peace accord Tuesday should not be mistaken that he is interested in a credible election in 2019.

He said, “A man who has turned all FG agencies, especially EFCC and Police to the attack dogs of APC cannot be said to be interested in any peaceful election just by mere signing of peace accord.

“A man who refused to sign the Amended Electoral Bill 4 times after it was passed by NASS of 469 Nigerians cannot be said to be interested in any peaceful, free and fair election.

“Therefore, the signing of Peace Accord won’t change his desperation to remain in office at all cost.”

The peace treaty, which is organised by the National Peace Committee, led by Abdulsalami Abubakar, a former head of state, is aimed at ensuring a peaceful and violence-free poll in 2019.
