VIDEO: Bulls Fans Are Loving Derrick Rose's Return to Chicago
Derrick Rose returned to his hometown of Chicago on Wednesday night to take on his former team, and the fans are absolutely thrilled, even if he's playing for the Timberwolves now. There's no denying the fact that Chicago loves Rose, and they showered him with it after this insane bucket early in the game.
Yeah, that was reminiscent of MVP D-Rose right there. But the man has been playing at a high level for the T-Wolves this season, and his mission to become the NBA Sixth Man of the Year is actually looking like a real possibility.
Rose is remembered fondly for his time spent with the Bulls, in which he became the youngest MVP in the history of the league in 2011.
It's great to see Bulls fans cheering on their former player, and Rose certainly deserves it. He gave the Bulls plenty of amazing memories and highlights, and he's made a tremendous comeback given the injuries that he's sustained.
