'I Have Fulfilled Over 90% Of My First Term Campaign Promises'- Abubakar

The Jigawa state governor, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar said his administration fulfilled over 90 percent of his 2015 campaigns made to electorate before his first term election.

The governor made the disclosure on Sunday at Ringim town the headquarter of Ringim local government area in the state while addressing political crowd during his campaign visit to the town, said “apart from that, all the projects abandoned by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) have now being completed by the All Progressive Congress (APC)’s government both at the state and federal levels”.

Alhaji Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar pointed out that APC as a party is willing to take the state through various developmental projects to the next level.

According to him “roads such as Shuwarin to Kwanan Huguma, Kano Maiduguri which was awarded several years ago and were not completed by the past administration are now almost completed”.

He faulted the statement made by the former Jigawa state Governor Sule Lamido on the River Hadejia Jama’are Basin Development as misleading.

“As he said that there are one Million hectres of farm land (hectre1M) waiting for Atiku to do the job is not true. If he had used calculator, he would have known the exactly hectres of farm land that there.

“And already the work is ongoing now, because the contract has been re-awarded by the present APC’s led federal government to remove the typher grasses and expand the river bank”, he stressed.

He therefore urged members of the APC to continue supporting the party and take it to the next level to enable them continue with the good works they are presently.
