Sanchez Demands United Exit

MANCHESTER UNITED flop Alexis Sanchez will definitely be leaving the club this summer, according to reports from his homeland.

The Chilean star was expected to shine at United after swapping places with Henrikh Mkhitaryan in January 2018.

But Sanchez's spell at Old Trafford has been one to forget for both the player and supporters.

According to Chilean outlet RedGol, the Red Devils star is definitely leaving this summer after demanding a move away from the club.

"Alexis leaves yes or yes, he demands a change in order to have the chance to prove his value," one source told the publication.

Atletico Madrid has emerged as the newest side to take an interest in Sanchez.

Los Colchoneros boss Diego Simeone coached the attacker at River Plate over a decade ago and is reportedly keen on a reunion.

And he has not been shy about his love for Sanchez in the past.

"He is an extraordinary player, what else could I say about him, I love him a lot, because I had him when he was just a boy," the Argentinian said when United signed the 30-year-old.

"He has grown enormously, he must be one of the best in the world."

The La Liga giants need a replacement for Antoine Griezmann who is set to leave this summer.

Atletico has also been linked with moves for Benfica wonderkid Joao Felix and Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala.

However, both players will command a huge transfer fee this summer, meaning Sanchez is a much cheaper alternative.

Juventus and Inter Milan are both said to be keen on the United outcast this summer.

However, new San Siro boss Antonio Conte recently tried to play down reports Sanchez would be moving to the Serie A side.

Team-mate Romelu Lukaku is also being touted as another player who could make a switch to Italy.

The Belgian has previously admitted he would love the chance to play in Serie A.
