Nigerian songstress, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has broken yet another record as she becomes the first African act to appear on two songs on the internationally sought-after Billboard Hot 100.

The soul-stirring singer who featured on Drake's latest album, 'Certified Lover Boy' on a song titled 'Fountains' and Wizkid's smashing tune 'Essence' has continued to get her numbers up over time.

Recall that she recently overtook Wizkid to become Spotify's African act with the highest number of monthly listeners after garnering a whopping eleven million listeners.

In the most recent update, Tems, who is set to release a new body of work titled "if orange was a place" tomorrow, September 15th, 2021, became the first African act to appear twice on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time.

The songstress appears at number 26 on the chart alongside Drake on 'Fountains' and equally appears at number 34 on the chart alongside Wizkid and Justin Bieber on 'Essence (Remix)'
