The body of the English Premier League has announced the manager of the month for January 2023.
Arsenal's manager, Mikel Arteta was named the winner of the award for the second consecutive time this season. The Spaniard is the only person to achieve this feat in the history of the Premier League since Pep Guardiola in November and December 2021.
This is the fifth time Arteta has won the award, with three of those coming this season. He is two awards away from Jurgen Klopp's record of five in a single season, in 2019/20.
The 40-year-old beat fellow nominees Steve Cooper, Roberto De Zerbi, Unai Emery, and Thomas Frank after votes from the public were combined with those of a panel of football experts.
